Equality and Diversity – Course of the Week

Equality and-DiversityEquality and diversity is a term used in the United Kingdom to define and champion equality, diversity and human rights as defining values of society. It promotes equality of opportunity for all, giving every individual the chance to achieve their potential, free from prejudice and discrimination.  Our Equality and Diversity course includes Inclusion, which means to include everyone, no matter what their background or beliefs.

UK legislation requires public authorities to promote equality in everything that they do, also making sure that other organisations meet their legal duties to promote equality while also doing so themselves.
In the UK there are certain legal requirements under existing legislation to promote equality in the areas of disability, gender and race. These are often collectively referred to as the general duties to promote equality.

Our course covers the key aspects of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion to ensure that employees and employers understand their responsibilities at work. It is extremely important to ensure that an organisation meets these requirements and all members of staff are treated equally. If you are unsure that your organisation meets these needs, our course will guide and inform you of the correct skills and requirements you should have within the workplace.

The content of this and all our courses has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and come with a Certified CPD Statement as well as a ProTrainings Certificate and for online courses an Evidence Based Learning statement.

This course comes with 4.0 hours of CPD, although the time to complete the course online may be less than this. Total course time includes 39 minutes of video training as well as knowledge reviews, final test, remedial help and reviewing downloaded material.
